Perry Mandera

A longtime resident of Chicago, Perry Mandera splits his time among his work as the president of The Custom Companies, Inc., and several philanthropic activities that benefit the people of Illinois. To further his professional activities, Perry Mandera retains membership in the Illinois Trucking Association (ITA), which advocates on behalf of the trucking and transportation industry in Illinois.

Beyond advocacy, the ITA operates the Illinois Trucking Foundation (ITF), the organization’s charitable arm. Created in 2015, the ITF funds research and educational projects that involve the Illinois trucking industry.
To bolster its efforts, the ITF created the Founders Club, which offers ITA members the opportunity to make a one-time donation to the ITF. Founders Club members donate a minimum of $100, for which they receive recognition as contributors on the ITA’s Donor Wall and a traveling display for use during events.
Members who donate at least $500 also receive recognition on the back of the ITA’s semi-trailer. Members whose donations exceed $1,000 may place their company logo on the side of the semi-trailer.
